We awarded a travel grant for a family with a very poorly 11 year old son. He had been having lots of complications due to the treament. Therefore he had been in hospital for a long time and was going to be an ongoing stay for a while.
We made a donation to the Hearts for Kids fund at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Charley had been on the heart transplant list and was given support by the transplant team. This fund helps these families as well as funding research into organ transplantation.
