We purchased sensory toys for two young children with complex disabilities. Touchy, feely toys and toys with movement, light and sound. The families were thrilled as the children did not have any sensory toys.
A request come in from a family who needed an iPad for their son to help with his non-verbal communication, which had been improving recently. His specialist school had advised his parents that it should help him a lot. We are looking forward to an update on his progress in due course.
